THE INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, INDIA

We initiated this award aiming for our Students of Class IX and X with the concept of giving young students a balanced, non-competitive programme of voluntary activities which encourage personal discovery and growth, self-reliance, perseverance, responsibility to themselves and service to their community.

The aim was to motivate young people aged between 14 -15 years with the help of 4 mandatory sections Voluntary Service, Skills, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey for the Bronze level.

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITIES

Collaborative learning is a method of active learning that relies on the principle of Students’ of different countries, culture and Schools coming together to work towards a common goal.

With the goal to inculcate international dimension in our curriculum we have incorporated learning activities in collaboration with Schools of different countries.

These activities have enabled Students’ make individual progress in tandem with others, working towards a common goal. Students are accountable to one another and, with appropriate direction. Pupils learn to better understand and anticipate difference, recognise it in themselves and others which enable them to analyse and to develop better understanding between the two countries.

The outcomes lie in many tangible and less tangible traits like: Improved performance, Embedded learning, Confidence building, Inclusivity and most importantly to be equipped as well rounded citizen.

CELA (CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH LEARNING ASSESSMENT)

The Cambridge CELA (ESOL) examinations are recognised by universities and employers all over the world. This was the first English exam to be accepted as the standard international English Language qualification.

CELA offers students a structured way to improve their English. Preparing for the exams at varied levels – Starters, Movers, Flyers, PET help them to communicate in real life.

BEHES – DEBATE FOR ALL

‘Behes’ conducts and trains for debate for youth everywhere to openly express and challenge ideas & opinions on globally relevant issues.

The free- flowing debate format encourages growth of research, collaborative and analytical apart from oratory skills of the students. They also learn how to work as a team.

WORLD SCHOLAR CUP

It is a platform which provides students to work together to bring inclusive celebration of learning from all over the world. It boosts students confidence, widen horizons and motivate them to discover their new strengths and practice new skills.
