Tasty Treats

"Tasty Treats," a delightful and educational club where young chefs from classes 3 to 5 come together to create delicious and healthy treats. Our focus is on preparing snacks and meals that are nutritious and easy to make without the use of fire or heat. Through this club, students will learn about healthy eating, the importance of balanced nutrition, and the joy of creating their own tasty masterpieces.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Hands-On Cooking: Students will engage in hands-on activities to make a variety of no-cook recipes such as fruit salads, vegetable wraps, yogurt parfaits, and more.
  2. Nutrition Education: Learn about the benefits of different fruits, vegetables, grains, and dairy products. Understand how to create balanced meals and snacks.
  3. Creativity and Presentation: Encourage creativity in food preparation and presentation. Students will learn to make their dishes visually appealing.
  4. Teamwork and Collaboration: Work in groups to foster teamwork and collaboration. Students will share ideas and help each other in the kitchen.
  5. Hygiene and Safety: Emphasize the importance of kitchen hygiene and safe food handling practices.
  6. Recipe Sharing: Each session will end with a tasting and sharing session where students can share their creations and discuss what they learned.
